Duration: 7 hours
In the depths of the Venetian countryside that surrounds Vicenza, sumptuous residences are imagined as far as the eye can see and the gaze of every traveler admires the teachings of the Ancients that have become solid realities. All generated by the evolution of a modest, portentous stonemason.
Through a pilgrimage in Palladian E-Bike, we will admire the greatest jewels of Palladian art and beyond. There will be the opportunity to visit Villa Caldogno, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that was renovated in 2016 and considered an autograph work by Andrea Palladio. Inside we will be able to admire the frescoes depicting the entertainment in the Villa and we will enter the majestic 10,000sqm park , redesigned according to the canons of the Italian garden.
Continue towards Villa Valmarana-Bressan, whose peculiarity is the presence of frescoed decorations dating back to different eras according to the environments. It is one of the first works of Palladio and it is certainly a fundamental step to fully understand the architect 's artistic spirit .
The experience will end with a visit to Villa La Rotonda, one of the greatest jewels of the Palladian era, thanks to its structure designed to accommodate a single person and to celebrate their life. An eccentric and unique Villa- Temple, decorated with a series of frescoes that will leave us speechless. Last but not least, before our return, we will stop to contemplate the beauty of the Venetian countryside.
